The Kalkman Epsylon bow thruster is a type of water jet system. The exhaust can rotate 360º (electro-mechanically)
thus supporting side moves as well as enhancing foreward or backward propulsion.
It works as a high power auxillary thruster.

This high power bow thruster allows the shipper to reach banks or quaysides in case of emergency.
